SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host an international exchange student! Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for the exchange student
• Attend the local high school with the exchange student
• Help the exchange student adjust to life in the new country
• Encourage the exchange student to participate in community activities
• Ensure the exchange student has access to healthcare and emergency services

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a stable income
• Must have a good credit score
• Must have a home that is suitable for hosting an exchange student
• Must have a secure address and phone number

Qualifications

• Willingness to share your home and heart with a young person from another culture
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Open-mindedness to learning about different cultures
• Flexibility to adapt to a new living situation
• Availability to host the exchange student for a full school year or semester
