Host an International High School Exchange Student (Galveston County, TX)

Description

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host an international exchange student! Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the exchange student
• Attend the exchange student's local high school classes
• Help the exchange student adjust to life in the new country
• Share cultural experiences with the exchange student
• Ensure the exchange student has access to healthcare and emergency services
• Support the exchange student in their academic and social development

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have a stable home environment
• Willingness to share your home and culture with an international student
• Ability to provide transportation to and from school
• Availability to host the exchange student for a full school year or semester
