Host an International High School Exchange Student (Florissant, MO)

About the role

SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.

Responsibilities

• Experience the world without leaving home by opening your home to a high school exchange student.
• Host a student who is 14–18 years old and comes from countries including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and many others.
• Be part of a student's cultural exchange by sharing your own culture and traditions.
• Provide a safe, welcoming environment for the student to live and study.
• Ensure the student has access to comprehensive medical insurance.
• Offer spending money for personal expenses.
• Screen and select the student before they arrive in the United States.

• Have a caring heart.
• Have a stable home.
• Be willing to welcome a student into your family.

• Two-parent families (with or without children)
• Single parents
• Single adults
• Retired couples
• Empty nesters
