Host an International High School Exchange Student (Farragut, TN)

About the Role

ERDT/SHARE! is a global non-profit educational foundation providing international student exchange services since 1974. We are seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year, offering them a chance to experience American family life while sharing their own culture and traditions.

Responsibilities

• Open your home to a high school exchange student aged 14–18 from countries including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and others.
• Welcome the student as a true member of your family, supporting their integration into your daily life and local high school.

Requirements

There is no "perfect" host family. We welcome:

• Two-parent families (with or without children)
• Single parents
• Single adults
• Retired couples
• Empty nesters

Ideal hosts have a caring heart, a stable home, and a willingness to welcome a student into their family.

About the Students

Every SHARE! student:

• Speaks English
• Has comprehensive medical insurance
• Has spending money for personal expenses
• Is carefully screened and selected before arriving in the United States
