About the role

ERDT/SHARE! is a global non‑profit educational foundation that has been providing international student exchange services to host families and international teens since 1974. The SHARE! High School Exchange Program seeks caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, welcoming home for an international high school student (ages 14‑18).
• Offer meals and a supportive family environment.
• Help the student experience American family life, attend local high school, and become a true member of the household.
• Encourage cultural exchange by sharing your own traditions while learning about the student’s culture.

Requirements

• A caring heart and a stable home environment.
• Willingness to welcome a student into your family and treat them as a member of the household.
• Open to all family types: two‑parent families (with or without children), single parents, single adults, retired couples, empty nesters.

Skills
