About the role
SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.
Responsibilities
- Experience the world without leaving home by opening your home to a high school exchange student.
- Host a student who is 14–18 years old and comes from countries such as France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and many others.
- Be part of a student's cultural exchange by sharing your own culture and traditions.
- Ensure the student has comprehensive medical insurance and spending money for personal expenses.
- Screen and select students before they arrive in the United States.
Requirements
- Two-parent families (with or without children), single parents, single adults, retired couples, or empty nesters are all welcome.
- Have a caring heart, a stable home, and a willingness to welcome a student into your family.
Qualifications
- No "perfect" host family is required.
Skills
