Hospitality Technician
About the role
You will work as a Support Services Technician in multiple locations and departments, including Environmental Services, Nutrition Services, Reception, Patient Transport, and Supply Chain. Communication and collaboration with other team members are essential to ensure continuity of service and foster a positive work environment.
This position is part of the patient care team and creates a positive impact on the patient's experience by providing a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment. You will greet, communicate with, and assist visitors, staff, and patients in navigating the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Refer to the job description of the specific role being performed, including using the associated technology.
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff, visitors, and patients/residents to ensure high-level customer service and care.
- Assist visitors, staff, and patients in navigating the hospital to reach their destination.
- Complete special projects as assigned, with specific direction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 1 year of relevant experience in customer service or a related field.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA (American Heart Association) or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC (American Red Cross), with 90 days preferred for Patient Transport.
- CRT-Accredited Food Handler – ANSI National Accreditation Board (90 days preferred).
- CRT-Accredited Food Allergy Certificate – ANSI National Accreditation Board (90 days preferred).
- CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager, CFP – ANSI National Accreditation Board (90 days preferred).
