Hospitality Tech Senior
Job Summary
As a Support Services Technician with Corewell Health, you will assist patients and care teams across various departments such as Environmental Services, Nutrition Services, Patient Transport, Reception, and Supply Chain. You will support approximately 12-15 patients each day by performing tasks like ordering and delivering meals, completing room cleaning, providing one-way transport, and handling non-clinical requests.

You will work as a team member contributing to the overall success of Corewell Health. Your responsibilities include communicating effectively with all hospital staff, visitors, and patients/residents to ensure high levels of customer service and care. You will also create a positive patient experience by maintaining a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.
Essential Functions
- Communicate effectively with all hospital staff, visitors, and patients/residents to ensure the highest level of customer service and care.
- Provide training and ongoing instruction to new and existing Support Services staff.
- Act as a team lead during uplines' absence and report work-related issues to upline.
- Assign, coordinate, inspect employee work assignments, and complete quality assurance inspections.
- Navigate between campus locations to support needed operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of relevant experience
- Preferred one year of relevant experience
- Customer service and/or other related experience
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross
- CRT-Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) - AHE Association for the Healthcare Environment
- CRT-ServSafe Manager - NRA National Restaurant Association
- CRT-ServSafe Allergen - NRA National Restaurant Association
- CRT-ServSafe Handler - NRA National Restaurant Association
Skills
Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills are essential. CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred. CRT-Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification is preferred. CRT-ServSafe Manager certification is preferred. CRT-ServSafe Allergen and CRT-ServSafe Handler certifications are preferred.
