Hospitality Representative - Full Time - Evening

About the Role

This is a routine manual labor position focused on the daily cleaning of the medical center. Team members play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Ancillary Areas: Daily cleaning of one or more of the following: Office Space, Waiting Areas, and/or Outside Buildings. High-volume areas, including all bathrooms and the Emergency Room, require cleaning two to three times daily.
• Daily Room Cleaning and Discharge Room Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning of discharge rooms following a 10-step cleaning process. May be required to respond immediately to pages for discharge cleaning. Terminal cleaning is required for rooms of patients under precautions.
• Floor Care Tech: Dust-mop, sweep, vacuum, and bonnet carpets. Strip and refinish floors as needed.
• Scripting, EPIC System, and Communication: Use the EPIC system to receive and update tasks via phone, indicating task status (started or completed).
• Trash Removal: Remove, cover, and wash all trash containers as designated by the Team Leader.
• Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adhere to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Typical routine duties include, but are not restricted to: cleaning restrooms, removing trash, dusting, damp wiping, spot cleaning, spot mopping, pickup of dry and wet spills, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors/glass, making beds, polishing furniture and metal, and replenishing paper, soap, and plastic supplies.

Requirements

• Training and experience as may be gained through training schools, and some experience in performing cleaning work and/or other manual labor.
• Willingness and ability to deliver exceptional job performance.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• High School diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Related experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma/GED.

Pay

The starting hourly rate for this role is $17.51. The posted rate is a reasonable good-faith estimate of the minimum base pay at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as labor market data, experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, departmental budgets, and grant funding. Full-time and part-time positions (20+ hours/week) may be eligible for additional compensation elements, including shift differentials, performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
