About the Role
The Hospitality Director works to ensure a great guest experience through cleanliness, presentation, and orderliness. The Hospitality Director will ready lodging and rooms in preparation for guests on campus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness standards through cabin and room checks and staff support
- Prepare lodging and rooms for guests on campus
- Clean guest rooms and bathrooms
- Set up group meeting rooms with appropriate furniture and hospitality items prior to meetings
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records pertaining to repairs and cleaning schedules
- Keep lost and found area organized and orderly
- Track janitorial supplies and equipment for ordering
Qualifications
- Professing Christian that commits to follow the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
- Able to organize, clean, and prepare areas in a timely fashion
- Customer-service mindset
- Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
- Respond with grace in high-stress situations
- Willing to teach and invest in campers
Requirements
- At least one year out of high school
- Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
- Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
- Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training Program
Staff will operate under the camp guidelines for safety. By living, eating, and serving on-site, staff will model the values of CLM, as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job.
