Responsibilities
- Steer high-value hotel and resort projects from the "specified" phase to the "closed" phase.
- Partner with specification sales, brand managers, and developer account owners to ensure Lutron remains the preferred choice through the bidding process.
- Manage a regional pipeline, identify risks to project wins, and drive recovery strategies, informed by a deep understanding of the hospitality construction cycle and stakeholder decision dynamics.
- Lead complex negotiations with contractors and developers to remove final obstacles and secure the order.
- Close complex, multi-stakeholder hospitality deals by aligning owners, architects, and executing contractors through final award.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality-focused or complex project-based sales.
- Experience with lighting controls, building automation, or smart building technologies (preferred).
- Fluency in English required; professional proficiency in Spanish preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout the Caribbean (up to 50%+).
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for territory travel.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
