Hospitality Associate Cashier

About the Role

The Food & Nutrition Cashier is an experienced, trustworthy, and competent professional responsible for cash handling, cleanliness, and organization in the cafeteria. This role demonstrates specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist and meets mutually agreed-upon performance goals established annually. The position ensures patient safety, infection control practices, department security, and HIPAA compliance while achieving patient, customer, and physician satisfaction goals. The role fosters a culture aligned with HCA’s vision, mission, and values and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafeteria.
• Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Ensure customer, patient, and physician satisfaction.
• Support and uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent (preferred).
• 1+ years of cash handling experience (preferred).
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate (preferred; 90-day grace period after hire).
