Hospitality Associate Barista - Part Time

About the role

The Hospitality Associate, Barista, provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. The Hospitality Associate follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. Anticipates customer needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs. Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Anticipate customer needs by evaluating environment and customer cues
• Deliver legendary customer service with a "customer comes first" attitude
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age
• Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions as well as established procedures
• Ability to perform simple calculations and record keeping
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently
• Must complete and pass Serve Safe exam
• Competent and hospitable to successfully interact with customers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous food service experience/training preferred

Pay

$17.00 - $20.40 per hour
