About the role

As a Receptionist, you will be the first impression for all visitors and operate the switchboard. You will serve as the point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure throughout their visit. Your role is to establish a welcoming, warm, and professional atmosphere for clients, recruits, customers, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors with a smile, maintaining eye contact throughout interactions and addressing guests by name whenever possible.
• Answer telephones in a friendly, professional manner, take accurate messages, and handle or refer questions and requests appropriately.
• Manage on-floor conference room activities, including monitoring meeting start/end times, attendees, food and beverage orders, and room status via the reservations system.
• Notify appropriate staff of changes in meeting room status or special requests.
• Implement security policies for arriving and departing visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Serve as a Hospitality Services resource for way-finding, building amenities, transportation, neighborhood information, and organizational details.
• Handle car service requests for visitors and staff.
• Communicate requests to internal support departments such as building maintenance, IT, AV technology, and mail services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two to three years of experience in a client service or reception position within a hospitality or corporate environment.
• Computer skills and knowledge of office technology and equipment.

Pay

$20–$24 per hour
