Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Health Rockingham

About the role

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position for a Board Certified/Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician (MD/DO) to join the inpatient Hospitalist team at UNC Health Rockingham.

Responsibilities

• Average daily census of 28-32 (total)
• Specialty and Subspecialty support includes Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Orthopedics
• Average 14 Day Shifts Per Month (12 hours, 7 am-7 pm)
• Open ICU with support from Registered Nurses, Cardiac Technicians and Respiratory Therapists

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient experience
• Prefer prior hospitalist experience
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
• North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred
