Part‑time Hospitalist Physician position in Sioux Falls, SD with National Wound Physician Group offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work‑life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. Physicians become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound‑certified physician trainers and fellowship directors, utilizing cutting‑edge clinical technologies and the latest wound‑care modalities. The group provides bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, along with physician‑level wound‑management training and a wound fellowship for clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in skilled‑nursing facilities and long‑term acute‑care hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each assigned facility.
• Visit 2‑3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20‑30 patients daily.
• Document clinical findings point‑of‑care in real time using the proprietary wound‑specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week (part‑time) or 4‑5 days per week (full‑time).
• W2 employment contract; no work‑visa sponsorship available.

Pay

Schedule

Standard clinic hours are Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑4 pm. Part‑time role requires a minimum of 3 days per week; full‑time role is 4‑5 days per week. No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. The practice is mobile, with physicians visiting facilities within a 40‑60 mile radius of the Sioux Falls location.
