About the role
We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a practice opportunity in the Salt Lake City area.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality-driven and evidence-based care for patients in acute and critical care settings
- Care coordination for patients admitted to the hospitalist service through the E.D. or referred for admission by community/regional providers
- High-quality service/experience for referring and collaborating physicians as well as patients and their families
- Participation in hospitalist quality and service line improvement initiatives
- Attendance at periodic hospitalist and medical staff meetings
- Supervision of team mid-level providers and periodic supervision of medical students and residents
- Opportunities to enhance program growth
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current Medical License in Utah
- Experience in hospital medicine preferred
