About the role

The University of New Mexico Hospitalist Team is seeking a Daytime Hospitalist to join their dynamic and collaborative team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the mission of providing "better" healthcare, teamwork, and a lasting impact on the community.

Responsibilities

• Closed ICU - no procedures required
• Average of 18 patients per day
• Part of the rapid response team and responds to codes run by the ICU team
• Nights are covered by a dedicated nocturnist and night APP
• Work in the EMR system Cerner

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine
• Support for in-house licensing and credentialing
• Not accepting 2027 graduates for this role
• Authorized to work in the United States

Schedule

7 on/off schedule, working 7 am-7 pm

Pay and Benefits

• Day Shift Rate: $1829
• Night Shift Rate: $2,109
• Yearly Base Pay: $333,793
• Full benefits including CME allowance
• Relocation allowance and sign-on bonus
