About the role
We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join a dedicated hospital medicine team in a critical access hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive inpatient care on a 20-bed Medical-Surgical Unit and open ICU
- Managing admissions, discharges, and care coordination
- Responding to emergency situations
- Practicing full-spectrum hospital medicine
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Participating in quality improvement activities
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited school
- BC/BE in hospital medicine
- At least one year of experience
- Current Vermont medical licensure and DEA registration
- Proficiency in ventilator management
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
