Pay
$179.45 - $194.25 per hour (locum tenens Hospitalist Physician).
Schedule
Start date: November 1, 2026. Ongoing from October 2026 with 7–10 shifts per month; 12‑hour day shifts (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Weekend coverage expected.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for adult inpatient and observation patients in an inpatient hospital‑based setting.
- Respond to codes and rapid response events.
- Manage ventilators and step‑down patients (preferred).
Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Active Vermont medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Credentialing timeframe ≈ 90 days; temporary privileges available.
- Experience with Cerner Community Works EMR.
