Hospitalist Physician

About the role

An established independent not-for-profit critical access hospital is seeking a qualified family medicine or internal medicine/pediatric physician for a hospitalist opportunity. The position offers a great quality of life while living and working in a sought-after Wisconsin community, with access to outdoor recreation, excellent schools, and convenient proximity to La Crosse, Eau Claire, Marshfield, Madison, and Minneapolis.

Responsibilities

• Manage an average census of approximately 11 patients, including admissions.
• Provide hospitalist care with support from the emergency medicine team.

Requirements

• Qualified family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatric physician.
• Procedural experience is not required.

Pay

$350,000.00 – $397,000.00 per year.

Schedule

7‑on/7‑off schedule, 7 am to 7 pm shifts.
