Hospitalist - Per Diem
About the role
MaineHealth Memorial Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join our team as a Per Diem hospitalist in a community hospital setting in North Conway, New Hampshire. The successful candidate will join our current highly skilled Hospitalist physician team and supervised APP providers for daytime coverage, and physician nighttime coverage.
Responsibilities
- Admit and care for patients with a range of medical diagnoses
- Admit and medically manage orthopedic and surgical patients in consultation with those specialties
- Provide preoperative and ED consultative services
- Provide critical care, including ventilator management with full-time onsite Respiratory Therapy support
- Perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis (preferred but not required)
Schedule
Per Diem Rotating Schedule (Day/Night) – Flexible
Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of Internal Med or Family Medicine residency program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum three years’ clinical practice in Hospital Medicine preferred
Pay
The pay range for this position is $203.00 to $237.00 per hour.
