Hospitalist Pediatrician

About the role

We are seeking a full-time pediatrician to join a collaborative division specializing in inpatient and newborn care, pediatric sedation, and complex care management. The role involves providing inpatient pediatric services, mentoring medical students and residents, and engaging in medical education and professional growth within a supportive academic environment. The department features a robust academic pediatrics division with residency programs, home to the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and offers 24/7 pediatric emergency services, translational research, and comprehensive clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient pediatric and neonatal care
• Perform pediatric sedation and manage complex cases
• Educate and mentor medical students and residents across multiple disciplines

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach
• Ability to teach, mentor, and work effectively with healthcare teams
