About the role
Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for hospitalist work in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing patient files upon admission
- Addressing immediate health concerns
- Collaborating with the hospitalist team to determine treatment plans
- Examining patients in the acute care wing
- Modifying treatments or medications as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in internal medicine, hospitalist, or acute care
- Active licenses and certifications (NC RN license, NCCPA, or ACNP preferred)
- BLS CPR certification
Schedule
- Overnight shifts from 11pm to 7am
- Schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off
- No call duties
