Hospitalist - Locum Tenens

About the role

This role involves providing inpatient medical care during night shifts at a 300-bed facility. You will focus on comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients without admitting responsibilities.

Collaborate with a team of 3 advanced practice professionals and 10 physicians to ensure coordinated patient management. Maintain accurate electronic documentation and manage a variable patient caseload. Work on-site with no call outside scheduled shifts; no procedures are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient rounds and assessments during night shifts

Requirements

• Board certification in medicine
• Mississippi state medical license
• DEA credentials at the time of presentation
• Strong teamwork and patient management abilities
