HOSPITALIST - JACKSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (JMH)
The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University is currently seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor faculty position, for a full-time/part-time, non-tenure appointment as a Hospitalist within the Department of Internal Medicine. This faculty position will be responsible for overseeing the care of all assigned patients at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
- Ensure all assigned patients receive high-quality, evidenced-based medical care.
- Participate in teaching programs involving the FIU faculty as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
- A terminal degree as a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Certified in Internal Medicine, or Board Eligible with certification obtained within one year of hire.
- A valid and unrestricted Florida Medical License is required, or the candidate must be able to obtain licensure in the State of Florida prior to employment.
- Must be able to obtain privileges at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience teaching in undergraduate / graduate medical education.
