Hospitalist - Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Cover approximately 14 shifts per month, with 12-hour shifts on a 7 on / 7 off schedule.
• Perform rounding in the ICU and respond to codes as needed.
• Manage patient admissions, with an average of 6 during the day and 2 at night.
• Conduct procedures including vent management, central line placement, thoracentesis, and intubations.

Qualifications And Skills

• Board Certified in Hospital Medicine or related specialty.
• Experience with ICU rounding and emergency response.
• Ability to perform critical procedures independently.

No mid-level support or ER backup expected. Orientation provided before start. Compensation includes travel, accommodations, malpractice with tail coverage, and assistance with credentialing.
