About the role

Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is seeking a Board Certified / Eligible Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join their growing Hospital Medicine team in Torrington, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Practice in a close-knit, community hospital setting
• Collaborate with primary care and specialty teams
• Influence patient flow, quality, and operational improvements
• Manage daily census of approximately 45 patients
• Staff shifts with typically 2 providers per shift
• Work in a closed ICU with specialty and intensivist support

Requirements

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut
• Experience in Hospital Medicine preferred
