Hospitalist - Cardiology

About the Role

Provide cardiology care in a Level I trauma hospital and work out of a well-established clinic in a university community. Participate in a team of 10 cardiologists, including general, interventional, and electrophysiology specialists, and support teaching residents and fellows.

Cover approximately 182 shifts annually with 10-hour shifts. Collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs) and support staff. Balance income with a high quality of life, with flexible scheduling options like 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiology care in a Level I trauma hospital
• Work in a well-established clinic in a university community
• Participate in a team of cardiologists specializing in general, interventional, and electrophysiology cardiology
• Support teaching and mentoring of residents and fellows
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs) and support staff

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiology or equivalent
• Strong clinical skills in general, interventional, or electrophysiology cardiology
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to teaching and mentoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
