About the Role
Provide cardiology care in a Level I trauma hospital and work out of a well-established clinic in a university community. Participate in a team of 10 cardiologists, including general, interventional, and electrophysiology specialists, and support teaching residents and fellows.
Cover approximately 182 shifts annually with 10-hour shifts. Collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs) and support staff. Balance income with a high quality of life, with flexible scheduling options like 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off.
Responsibilities
- Provide cardiology care in a Level I trauma hospital
- Work in a well-established clinic in a university community
- Participate in a team of cardiologists specializing in general, interventional, and electrophysiology cardiology
- Support teaching and mentoring of residents and fellows
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs) and support staff
Qualifications
- Board certification in cardiology or equivalent
- Strong clinical skills in general, interventional, or electrophysiology cardiology
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to teaching and mentoring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
