About the role

The position involves practicing as a Hospitalist or Nocturnist in a 500+ bed, Regional Level II Trauma Center. Teaching opportunities are available, and there is an academic appointment at Upstate Medical University.

Responsibilities

• Work up new admissions during overnight hours
• Respond to emergencies and consultation requests for other specialties
• Not required to perform procedures

Requirements

• Residency-trained Internal Medicine physician
• Board-certified/Board-eligible status

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital medicine preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
