About the role
USACS is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a physician‑owned acute care group. You will practice compassionate, attentive, and quality care alongside physicians as a clinical colleague, supported by local, regional, and national APP leadership. The facility is a Level III trauma center offering a full range of general and specialty services for medical, surgical, pediatric, geriatric, and obstetric patients, with sophisticated diagnostic testing and state‑of‑the‑art procedures including diagnostic cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and open‑heart surgery on‑site. The hospitalist service sees approximately 14,020 patient encounters per year, supported by a team of physicians and APP providers, an IAC RN, block scheduling, and a team approach model with the hospitalist and emergency department under one IAC director. Pay
- APP Incentive Units: $33,000 after 2 years of employment and completion of the USACS APP Academy
- Continuing Education Allowance: $2,500 annual tax‑free CME/BEA ($4,500 during first year)
