About the role

Seeking a BC/BE inpatient gastroenterologist to join an academic medical center's gastroenterology program in the Tri-Cities region of northeastern Tennessee. The area offers natural beauty, outdoor activities, reputable schools, and access to higher education.

Responsibilities

• Clinical, educational, and administrative duties
• Opportunity for Division Chief for candidates with at least three years of experience
• Perform ERCP (required) and optional EUS
• Manage an inpatient census of 6‑12 patients
• Conduct 1‑2 procedures daily

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible (BC/BE) in inpatient gastroenterology
• ERCP proficiency required
• At least three years of experience for Division Chief consideration

Pay

• Competitive compensation approximately $700,000
• $60,000 sign‑on bonus
• $15,000 relocation assistance

Schedule

• 7 on/7 off schedule
• On‑call responsibilities, manageable with potential telehealth support
