Hospital Service Technician

About the Role

The Hospital Service Technician is responsible for equipment management tasks within the hospital to keep equipment flowing efficiently throughout the facility. The HST should be committed to continual improvement of the quality, reliability, and value of our products, as well as the efficiencies of our services. This role maintains professional relationships with all hospital staff and other personnel and acts as a subject‑matter expert of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Delivers equipment to patient rooms or standby locations in patient‑ready condition with appropriate software, accessories, and disposables.
• Communicates confidently with clinical staff about equipment features, functionality, and usage.
• Provides quality service, adheres to quality standards, and meets both customer and company metrics.
• Picks up, cleans, and processes all equipment, preparing it for patient‑ready use following company and hospital protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required; prior work experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off‑hours to support a 24/7 schedule.
• Ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds and stand and walk for long periods.
• Physical ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.

Pay

$17 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, rotating weekends, 2 PM – 10:30 PM.
