Hospital Service Technician

About the role

The Hospital Service Technician is responsible for equipment management tasks within the hospital to keep equipment flowing efficiently. The role focuses on continual improvement of quality, reliability, and value of products and services while maintaining professional relationships with hospital staff and acting as a subject-matter expert in customer service.

2nd shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. Pay: $16/hr + $0.50 shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Delivers equipment to patient rooms or standby locations in patient-ready condition with appropriate software, accessories, and disposables.
• Confidently communicates with clinical staff on equipment features and functionality.
• Provides quality service, performs to quality standards, and meets customer and company metrics.
• Picks up, cleans, and processes all equipment, preparing it for patient-ready use following company and hospital protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required; prior work experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 schedule.
• Able to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds and stand and walk for long periods.
• Able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• May be required to obtain certain vaccinations (including COVID-19) or provide proof of current vaccination status based on customer/company requirements.
