Hospital Revenue Cycle Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical, coding, compliance, and finance departments to ensure timely and accurate audit responses.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor billing, collections, payment posting, and accounts receivable activities.
• Oversee audit response preparation, documentation submission, and appeal processes.
• Develop and implement policies and best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize revenue leakage.
• Ensure organizational compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payer requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Cookordinate and manage all external payer audits, including Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC), Unified Program Integrity Contractor (UPIC), Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC), Medicaid, commercial payer, and other regulatory audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in business, healthcare administration, finance, accounting or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement methodologies.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
