- Load processors
- Sort multiple specimens

- Organize supplies
Print Labels and Worksheets
- Washes plastic supplies
- Washes glassware
- Washes metal molds for blocks
Assist with Equipment Maintenance, Inventory Control, Filing, Answering Phones
- Assists with equipment maintenance
- Assists with inventory control
- Assists with filing
- Answers phones
Process Cytology Specimens
- Gynecological (GYN)
- Non-gynecological (Non-GYN)
- Fine Needle Aspirates (FNA)
- Histology samples
Maintain Stainers
- Appropriately stains Cytology or Histology samples
May Assist with Transcription or Other Office Tasks as Needed
May Assist with Gross Area Tasks as Needed
Required Qualifications
- Two years of applicable experience
- Minimum 16 units of applicable Science (such as Chemistry, Biology) and Algebra at the college level
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical computer software systems
