Responsibilities
- Sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, stairways, elevators, entrances/exits, horizontal surfaces, bathrooms, unit common areas, utility rooms, and patient’s rooms.
- Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with Infection Control policies using proper tools, body mechanics, and lifting techniques.
- Show respect for personal dignity and values while performing cleaning duties with consideration for patients and their families.
- Pursue opportunities for improvement, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in assignments, and understand that assigned areas can change based on hospital needs.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
