About the role

Manage Plant Operations, Maintenance, Environmental Services, Safety, and Security activities within established standards, PAM Health Policies and procedures, and budgetary limitations. Conduct inspections and maintain the facility and equipment to ensure that all aspects of the Environment of Care, Life Safety Code, and Interim Life Safety Code are achieved. Requires on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Plant Operations, Maintenance, Environmental Services, Safety, and Security activities
• Conduct facility and equipment inspections to ensure compliance with Environment of Care, Life Safety Code, and Interim Life Safety Code

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Community electrical maintenance license if required
• Minimum of five years of related experience (maintenance/plant operations)
• Hospital maintenance experience required
• Familiarity with JACHO, NFPA, and OSHA regulations

Qualifications

• Preferred certifications: HVAC, life safety, electrical
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification desired
• 2 years of plant operations or maintenance director experience with supervision of 5 or more staff preferred
