Hospital Assistant II-Patient Lift Transport-FT Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team work flow and dispatch team members throughout the hospital to promote efficient transfer and lift services to assist with safe patient handling.
• Maintain a safe work environment for patient care providers.
• Track, deliver, clean, and perform basic repair of equipment & supplies.

Requirements

• Skill to perform basic mathematical computations, and to use general office equipment including computers, copiers, and calculators.
• Possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
• Available to work overtime as patient care needs demand.
• Minimum one year experience in a healthcare environment or training in a healthcare/emergency/rescue field.
• Current BLS certification required by time of hire.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
