About the role
Stillwater Hospice is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who wants to make a real difference in the quieter hours of hospice care. As an On-Call Hospice Nurse, you'll offer crucial support to patients and families during evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Respond to after-hours calls and provide triage, guidance, and occasional in-person visits when patients need urgent support
- Communicate and coordinate with the broader hospice team to keep all care providers informed
- Offer emotional reassurance and compassionate presence to patients and families in moments that matter most
Requirements
- Current RN license in Montana
- Ability to handle urgent situations calmly and compassionately
- Strong teamwork mentality; comfortable working in a connected, supportive environment
Wage
- RN: $35 - 41 / hourly while driving, and making scheduled or on-call visits
- LPN: $25 - 30 / hourly while driving, and making scheduled or on-call visits
- On call pay: $3 / hourly for simply being on call
