Duties
- See patients in private homes, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and anywhere a patient calls home.
- Perform a head-to-toe assessment.
- Provide symptom management and skilled care to patients facing terminal illnesses.
- Provide emotional support and education on death and dying.
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs.
- Monitor medication lists and appropriateness of said medications.
- Assess for DME needs.
- Provide wound care and other treatments as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed in the State of Missouri as an RN.
- Live within a commutable distance to the office.
- Willing to train the right candidate.
- A gentle, loving heart is a must.
- Ability to provide love and support to patients and families facing a terminal illness.
- Ability to work as a team player and represent the company well in the community.
- Computer and smart phone skills for EMR charting, email, apps for mileage computation, etc.
