About the role
Provide compassionate care to hospice patients in their homes, assisting with medical needs and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient health and report changes to healthcare providers
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Support patients and families through end-of-life processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in your state
- Experience in hospice care or similar setting preferred
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of hospice care protocols
- Proficiency in medical terminology
