About the role
Provide compassionate care to hospice patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities and managing symptoms.
Responsibilities
- Visit patients regularly to provide support and administer prescribed medications.
- Assist with personal hygiene and nutrition needs.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient interactions and progress in accordance with hospice protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current state nursing license.
- Experience in hospice care or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Strong emotional intelligence and empathy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
