Hospice Residence Aide - $2000 Sign-On Bonus Eligible
About the role
Named by the Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks experienced, talented, and compassionate hospice aides to join our Residence team. This is an exciting opportunity for hospice aides interested in providing end-of-life care at a new 10-bed hospice facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide bedside care to terminally ill patients residing at the hospice house following the established plan of care.
- Demonstrate a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude toward all patients and their families.
- Commitment toward exceeding the needs of our customers.
Schedule And Weekly Hours
12-hour shifts, day and overnight available. From 7 am to 7 pm OR 7 pm to 7 am.
Education, Skills, And Experience
- Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current Massachusetts certification in good standing
- A minimum of two years prior experience in community health, long term care facility, oncology, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to be a team player and work harmoniously with patients, families, co-workers, and management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range
This number reflects an average starting hourly range for this position. Individual pay is determined through a variety of factors including experience, education, certifications, and skills and can exceed the range.
