About the role
Provides compassionate care to patients and families in their homes, focusing on symptom management and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and families during difficult times.
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers and family members as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in hospice care or home health preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly empathetic and emotionally resilient.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using hospice care software.
- Knowledge of palliative care principles.
