About the role

Hospice program offering a complete team of professionals and trained volunteers to meet the physical, spiritual and social needs of patients who wish to pursue proactive comfort care at the end of life in the location of the patient's choice. We serve Tarrant, Denton, Parker and Johnson counties. Vitas is the largest Hospice provider in the US. Volunteers are needed in the Grapevine and HEB area to provide increased interaction for families or give primary caregivers a few hours out of the house, acting as a friendly face and kind neighbor during a difficult time. “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” – Song by Fred Rogers.
