Hospice On Call RN

Department: Hospice RN – Low Ratio | Shift: Night

About the role

Primary on-call Registered Nurse for after normal business hours, including weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays. Performs triage with caregivers and families for patient needs, pain crises, end-of-life issues, and death. Makes patient visits as needed for medical and emotional crises and attends deaths. Available to perform admission processes and any follow-up visits during the shift.

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Arkansas Registered Nurse license from an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in hospice or home health
• Current CPR certification recognized by Baptist Health
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and a dependable vehicle

Schedule

• 7 days on, 7 days off rotating schedule
• Must work 7 out of 14 days in each pay period

Pay

Salary based on an 80-hour pay period; authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
