Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse RN (Weekends)

Position Summary

The On‑Call Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing care to clients of all ages in their place of residence, coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, patients/families, and referring agencies, and assumes responsibility for overall care coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Current state license as an RN and a current state driver’s license
• Two years’ experience as an RN in a clinical care setting; hospice or home health experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support patients and families effectively
• Demonstrated nursing practice skills, ability to cope with family emotional stress, and tolerance of individual lifestyles
