Hospice Nurse (RN)

Duties

• Hospice RN Case Managers see patients in private homes, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and anywhere a patient calls home.
• Performs a head-to-toe assessment, provides symptom management and skilled care to patients facing terminal illnesses as well as providing emotional support and education on death and dying.
• Supervises LPNs and CNAs, monitors medication lists and appropriateness of said medications, assesses for DME needs, provides wound care and other treatments as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in the State of Missouri as an RN.
• Lives within a commutable distance to the office.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• A gentle, loving heart is a must.
• Must be able to provide love and support to patients and families facing a terminal illness.
• Must be able to work as a team player and represent our company well in the community.
• Computer and smart phone skills for EMR charting, email, apps for mileage computation, etc.

Requirements

• The offices are open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
• Reliable transportation and car insurance required.
