Hospice LPN

About the role

We are a well-established hospice company looking to add to our team. Regional Hospice has 3 offices covering the southwest corner of Missouri with offices in Lebanon, Springfield, and Joplin. We are currently looking for experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in Springfield, MO.

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient, family and caregiver in coping with issues related to death and dying.
• Perform head-to-toe assessment and vital sign check on all assigned patients for the day.
• Occasionally provide personal care, bathing, dressing, etc to the patient.
• Communicate effectively with all hospice staff and provide all support as needed.
• Provide nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support to the patient, family, and caregivers.
• Provide education to the patient, family, and caregivers.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate must be currently licensed in the State of Missouri as an LPN and live within a commutable distance to the office.
• Reliable transportation and car insurance required.
